What we use
This website (clymb-app.com) uses cookies for Google Analytics, and only if you accept them. When you first visit, a cookie banner asks for your choice. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and nothing is set until you accept. You can change your decision at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.
Why we use analytics: only to understand how the site is used so we can fix problems and improve CLYMB. It is not used for advertising, marketing or profiling, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cloudflare, which delivers this website, may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm (30 minutes) to tell people from bots and to secure individual requests; they hold nothing about you and are never used to recognise you on a later visit. The contact and account-deletion forms also run Cloudflare Turnstile for the same purpose, only while the form is open. None of this requires consent under the ePrivacy Directive (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
The CLYMB app stores a small amount of data locally on your device so the product works:

All of these are essential to the service and none of them are used to profile you or to track you across other websites or apps.
Usage analytics in the app are optional, only run with your consent, and are used only to improve CLYMB. The app asks when you create your account, with its own box that starts unticked and is separate from the Terms (earlier app versions ask once in a pop-up); creating an account works the same either way. You can change your choice at any time in Profile.
Controlling it
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, or by deleting and reinstalling the mobile app. Doing so signs you out; it does not delete your account or your training data, which live on our servers: see Deleting your account.
Changes
If we ever add another cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before it is set.
